NXP Semiconductors i.MX RT1050 EVK Evaluation Kit (MIMXRT1050-EVKB) offers a complete development platform for i.MX RT Crossover Processors. The i.MX RT1050 EVK features an Arduino interface, providing a broad range of expansion board options. The other on-board interface options include a 6-axis eCompass (Accelerometer and Magnetometer), USB Host and OTG interfaces, Ethernet (10T/100T) connectivity, CAN Transceivers, SD card interface, a parallel camera connector, and more. The wide range of peripheral interface options enable developers to fully explore the capabilities of the i.MX RT devices. Support for toolchains such as MCUXpresso, IAR, Keil MDK, and SDK with FreeRTOS offer options for serial communication, flash programming, and run-control debugging.

The NXP Semiconductors i.MX RT1050 EVK Evaluation Kit also features an enhanced Liquid Crystal Display Interface (eLCDIF). This general-purpose display controller allows developers to connect an LCD display easily, such as the optional RK043FN02H-CT LCD Display Module. This 4.3" LCD Module supports a 480px x 272px resolution and features capacitive touch for ease of use.

Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Solution

Murata has partnered with Embedded Artists to integrate Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® into the existing development platform for the NXP i.MX RT 1050/1060 Crossover Processors.

The Murata uSD-M.2 Adapter connects to the uSD slot on either the i.MX RT1050 EVK or the i.MX RT1060 EVK Evaluation Kit, allowing application developers to connect the Embedded Artists Type 1DX M.2 EVB, which provides IEEE 802.11/b/g/n and BT/BLE connectivity.
