Infineon Technologies CIPOS™ Intelligent Power Modules

Infineon Technologies CIPOS™ Intelligent Power Modules (IPM) are a portfolio of highly integrated, compact power modules designed to drive motors in applications ranging from home appliances, fans, and pumps to general-purpose drives. The modules are designed to drive motors in applications like home appliances, fans, pumps, and general-purpose drives. The CIPOS family consists of ultra-compact nano, cost-effective micro, and energy-efficient mini IPMs.

Also available are MIPAQ™ Intelligent Power Modules, fully qualified and tested high-power IPMs integrating IGBTs, gate drivers, a heat sink, sensors, digital control electronics, and digital bus communication. MIPAQ supports nominal current ratings of up to 2400A, and MIPAQ Pro is available with liquid and air-cooled heat sinks.

Overview

Infineon Technologies CIPOS™ Intelligent Power Modules

CIPOS Mini

CIPOS Mini Power Modules are designed to control AC motors to drive applications like refrigerators. The package is ideal for power applications, which need good thermal conduction and electrical isolation, but also EMIsave control and overload protection. 3Φ-bridges with CoolMOS™ CFD2 Power MOSFETs are combined with an optimized SOI gate driver for excellent electrical performance.
