Analog Devices Inc. AD9135 11-Bit Dual DAC

Analog Devices Inc. AD9135 is a dual, 11-bit, high dynamic range digital-to-analog converter (DAC) offering a maximum sample rate of 2.8GSPS to support a multicarrier generation over a very wide bandwidth. The DAC outputs are optimized to interface seamlessly with the ADRF6720 and ADRF670x analog quadrature modulators (AQMs). An optional 3-wire or 4-wire serial port interface (SPI) allows programming/readback of many internal parameters.

Designers can program a full-scale output current over a typical range of 13.9mA to 27.0mA. Available in a small 88-lead LFCSP package with a 12mm × 12mm footprint, the AD9135 DAC is ideally suited for wireless communications, wideband communications, transmit diversity, multiple input/multiple output (MIMO), instrumentation, and automated test equipment.
