The Optek OPA8x light ring series gives designers a compact means of illuminating a given area with near-infrared (IR) light. The Optek OPA80 and OPA82 near-infrared light rings offer through-hole and surface-mount options, are available in a variety of ring sizes and configurations, and feature an optional ambient light sensing device to minimize current consumption during high ambient light conditions.
