For nearly a decade, Amulet´s patented display technology, the Graphical Operating System in Silicon™, has enabled OEM's to cost effectively improve the user experience of their electronic devices with visually appealing, interactive user interfaces that provide 24/7 reliability. Amulet works with 8-bit host microcontrollers, uses serial interfaces (RS232), allows collaborative GUI content development, and uses legacy hardware and software.
Amulet Technologies offers display solutions, including LCD controller chips, fully integrated modules, and controller boards. With the Amulet controller chip supporting the majority of the monochrome displays on the market, customers purchasing the display separately from the Amulet Graphical OS Chip™ are able to integrate the two with ease. Display Starter Kits are available to assist customers in the review and prototype phases.

Amulet Technologies GEMexpress™ Universal Display Driver Board for TFT and OLED Displays
The Amulet Technologies GEMexpress™ Universal Display Driver Board for TFT and OLED displays features an Amulet AGB75LC04-BG-E 225 BGA Graphical OS Chip™ and an integrated 4- or 5-wire touch panel decoder. This small and compact Amulet Technologies display driver board measures 1.5" x 3.0" and fits within the outline of a 3.5" TFT. The GEMexpress Display Driver Board has ample storage capacity with a 32 megabit Serial Flash for storing GUI pages. The Amulet GEMexpress Display Driver Board also includes 3.3v UART, TWI, and USB serial interfaces.
Amulet Technologies Graphical OS Chip™ for Color Displays
The Amulet Technologies Graphical OS Chip™ for Color Displays takes designs to the next level by implementing interactive color-rich GUIs designed in dynamic HTML. The Amulet Technologies Graphical OS Chip for Color Displays includes all of the hardware and software required to turn a color LCD and touch panel into a user interface. This Amulet Technologies color GUI processor features an integrated LCD controller that supports passive and active displays up to 24 bits per pixel as well as USB 2.0, TWI, UART, and SPI interfaces. It also includes a Power Management Controller for low power operation. The Graphical OS Chip for Color Displays is ideal for a wide range of embedded system applications, including appliances, consumer electronics, industrial controls, medical equipment, and office automation.

The Amulet Technologies LCD Graphical Display Color Starter Kit features a 480x272 TFT LCD 16:9 wide-aspect ratio Display, an Amulet AGB75LC04-QU-E (208-pin) Graphical OS Chip, and a royalty-free graphical operating system. The Amulet LCD Graphical Display Color Starter Kit
also includes USB 2.0, RS232, and 3.3v UART electronic interface
options on-board, 32-megabit Serial Flash for storing µHTML™ GUI pages,
and a touch panel controller built into Graphical OS Chip. The LCD Graphical Display Color Starter Kit
comes with downloadable Amulet Compiler Software, a 5VDC power supply,
USB PC interface cable, a white LED backlight, and Integrated Touch
Panel and Controller Board.
